To mark the fiftieth anniversary of the signing of the Rome Treaties, this vast exhibition takes visitors into the heart of European history, from the end of the Second World War up to the challenges that are today facing our continent.
Alongside the displays, films, artistic works and interactive multimedia, special attention is given to around 500 authentic and often very symbolic objects on loan from 80 European museums. The visitor plays a pro-active part in this exhibition, coming face to face with History and suddenly a protagonist in the great European adventure. The achievement of the exhibition reflects that of Europe and offers a good way of refreshing our memories.
