Open source - The water and the city
The Exhibition of call for ideas Open Source opens itself from 6 to 15 June. "Lets imagine districts in which water is our real friend", this is the proposition of this appeal. During six months, the experts and the citizens worked for the matter through a number of meetings and workshops.

Across many propositions, we could see a sort of history that was starting to be written: at the beginning it was the spring, the forest, the swamp, etc. Then the mills and the beer came and finally the city forced by the modernity flowed back water under bitumen and waterproof concrete. Dig up the cobblestones from the World! Answered Super Desasphaltico which invited us to explore our catchment area, its invisible Maelbeek and its urban legend (Ixelligator) which sprang up from the depths. It will bring us also near our water friend in which the porous soil favors the bloom of the plants for the benefit of a larger biodiversity and a better quality of life. Gourmand dustbins, walls of plants, vegetable gardens , etc. Architecture could find a new way to be written. A way to make a link between us and the future generations. We will finish our journey with Super D but not before having explored the other districts.
