Hardly of its collaborations with Gaëtan Roussel (voice(vote) of Louise Attaque but also producer of the last album of Bashung) and the New Yorker Mark Plati (David Bowie, Alain Bashung, etc.), Rachid Taha is not little proud to present us its eighth album: Bonjour
Bonjour, a word which, for the ex-unruly child of the group Resident's permit, comes from the heart: " an attention in other than I meet ".
" I wanted new experiences" explain the native of Algeria. He registered for it his album between Paris and New York, a cosmopolitan city which becomes to him perfectly.
The travel, Rachid Taha has already made it in the course of its career and this " gypsy of the rock ", as nicknames him Thierry Coljon, built a family worldwide with artists such as Brian Eno or still Robert Plant who dedicate him a profound admiration.
The key brought by Gaëtan Roussel is tangible and fits like a glove to Rachid Taha always curious about new adventures and very satisfied to surprise some with it by this unexpected collaboration. Bonjour, the first single extracted from the album is a magnificent duet of both singers!
