Two Iranian evenings @ Cercles des Voyageurs

The Angolo dell'Avventura, in cooperation with the Club del Libro,
invites you to two evenings dedicated to Iran. Both events will take
place at the Cercle des Voyageurs, Rue des Grands Carmes, 18, 30mt
from the Menneken Pis. The language will be French, with the option of
asking questions in English.
On Friday, 22 September, at 8:00pm, "La septième ville" by Evrahim
Baran(ed Maelstrom www.maelstromeditions.com) a historical novel, with
profound
implications for our times, set in XIX century Persia and written by an
Iranian author living in Brussels. The book will be available for purchase
with the author's signature.
On Saturday, 23 September, at 8:00pm, "Iran", a slide show by Marco
Carnovale. One month across Iran, from the villages of the Kurdish and
Turkish north, to the archeological wonders of Persepolis to the deep
south of Esphanan, Shiraz and Bam, the fortress which he visited just
a few months before the earthquake that wiped it out in 2003.
