buy stamps or send a parcel...  The post office on Avenue Fonsny, a few metres to the right of the Midi train station, is open until 10 pm on Saturday, and from 11 am to 7 pm Sunday. ... purchase a bag of chips For those who are peckish on the way home from a night out, go and stand in the queue at the friterie de la Barrière on the right-hand side of avenue du Parc, just twenty metres from the Barrière de Saint-Gilles (1060).

find dental treatment in an emergency ... The only dentist ready to treat you 24/7 is the Centre Dentaire Mesier at number 1, Place Meiser, 1030 Brussels, just opposite the tram stop.

eat a steak tartare... The Belgian and French cuisine served in the Frederiksborg is available all hours of the day and night. Avenue Broustin, 1083 Brussels (Ganshoren), just opposite the Koekelberg Basilica. Another address: "le Rendez-vous des artistes", rue Dejoncker 24, 1060 Brussels lies in a street parallel to the Avenue Louise.

buy a paper ... The night shop in the rue au Beurre, on the right as you go towards the Bourse when coming from the Brussels Grand'Place, sells Belgian and international press until dawn.
