Take Out Your Christmas Trees
There's no longer any doubt about it, the holiday period is over. The Magi have reached the manger, and the coloured lights have stopped making your home look like a bawdy house: so it's high time to get rid of your Christmas tree.
If you're lucky enough to have a garden and have bought a Christmas tree with its roots intact, you can always try to replant it in your little green paradise. You would certainly be able to uproot it next year to bring it the joys of decorations and garlands once again.
If not, take it out of its pot or off its brace and remove its decorations before putting it out on your pavement the day of green waste collection. The Christmas trees will be collected on the same day as the green waste.
For those who live in a neighborhood without green waste collection, your christmas trees will be door to door collected on 11 and 18 January 2015. Leave your trees on the street by 1pm.
If you miss this opportunity, you'll just have to cut it up into logs that you will have to let dry before they delight you in your open fire.
