It will soon be the weekend ! Discover the cool outings and activities to do in Brussels that we have selected for you this week.
 

A small exit on Thursday evening?
 
This Thursday, go to the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert to participate in the first night "open doors". The stores will remain open until 22:30. It's also an opportunity to witness the launch of the new LightShow on LostFrequencies. Subsequently, the show will be broadcast each evening during the weekend.
 

If you are more art and reading, Eatmypaper, a show of self-publishing and micro edition offers creative workshops and a reflection on independent publishing, moved to Brussels for 3 days and organizes a small party on Thursday from 18:30. You will be able to discover various publications, fanzines, photographs, comics, drawings, and many other things, all with a good little beer!
 

Finish the week in style!
 

This Friday announces the return of the afterwork "Belgian youth", which will take place in a new place called The Monastery, located in Ixelles. From 18:00, The Monastery welcomes you in its large majestic rooms, with a cracked floor, with an open courtyard and period decoration!
 

This Friday, Stockel Aperos are back on Place Dumon and celebrate their 10th anniversary. For this special occasion, you can dance and unwind your week listening to the sounds of Miss Luna, all while sipping a good cocktail!
 

If you are passionate about flowers this Friday, you will have the opportunity to participate in a workshop and compose your own bouquet, on the advice of a talented stylist and expert from Bloomon, a flower delivery service.
 

A busy weekend in perspective!


The world of science and technology fascinates you? See you at the I Love Science Festival which will take place from Friday to Sunday Tour & Taxis. Activities are planned for adults and children! Experiences, laboratories, events, conferences, workshops, exhibitions, ... the sciences will have no secrets for you!
 

Do you like short films? The 2018 Nuit du Court will take place this Saturday, April 28 at 9 pm, as part of the Brussels Short Film Festival! That night, night-owl moviegoers will attend short-starred shorts screenings, a film presentation, a "battle" where foreign festival programmers will compete and finally, at the "Very Short" Festival with films from less than 3 minutes.
 

This weekend, Brocante 58 will also take place at the foot of the Atomium. As part of the 60th anniversary of the World's Fair in Brussels in 1958, more than 120 collectors' stands will display various objects, memorabilia and vintage pieces from the 60s. Animations are also planned for children. La Brocante 58 will be the ideal place to walk with your family.
 

Do not miss the 25th edition of the 2018 Les Nuits Botanique festival, which began on Wednesday, April 25 and ends on Sunday, May 6th. Many artists from the Belgian, French and international scene will perform: Mélissa Laveaux, Angèle, Atome, or Sonnfjord, of which we spoke recently.

May 1st festivities


For Labor Day, various events and activities will take place on Place Rouppe. Organized by the FGTB of Brussels and many partners, the festival of May 1st will start at 14:45 by a fanfare and will be followed by concerts (festive rock, engaged rap, Cape Verdean rhythm, ...) from 15:30. Militant stands and children's villages will also be installed.
