Our selection of vintage series!
Do you remember that carefree time when you could spend all of your afternoons slumped in an armchair, a Fristi in one hand and a pancake (prepared by mom) in another while watching TV series? Now that you're entering the workforce, your evenings can now be summed up to this : "I have to go grocery shopping" and "I have to finish something for work", does it not? It is for this reason that BrusselsLife suggests you spend 5 minutes with us and review all these series that rocked the sweet fantasy world called childhood.

Dawson

He touched a whole generation with his silliness, utopian theories and redundant pseudo-existential questioning. Why yes, I am indeed talking about Dawson, the hero that nobody liked, not even Joey!

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air propelled sexy Will to stardom, for whom we all drooled at least once. But he is not the only reason to watch this legendary series! We love the fluorescent Iooks that hurt the eyes, the utterly crazy humor and this dear Carlton, the uptight yet likeable loser.

That’s 70’s Show

Regarding vintage, you will not find better than « That 70's Show »! Kitsch to the max, immerse yourself in this whirlwind of bell-bottoms,disco music and illicit substances !

Beverly Hills

Brenda, Brandon, Kelly, Dylan ... do these names sound familiar ? Why yes, we have included Beverly Hills in our selection! Completely outdated, more than predictable scenarios, and bad actors ... In short, a good, totally puritan american show worthy of the 90's!

Hélène et les garcons

Of the same style, but the French version, is Hélène et les garcons . I suggest we send a letter of thanks to the creator Jean-François Porry who, with a number of other series like « Les musclés », « Premiers baisers » or « Les filles d’à côté » and all their derivatives, fueled culture to many generations.

Xena the Warrior Princess

For the grand finale, an ode to Xena the Warrior Princess! Xena is not afraid of anything and fought with the whole universe without ever losing a feather. She therefore deserved to be in this selection!
