Travel with the mototaxi in Brussels
Since March the 20th of 2012, a new vehicle has been born in Brussels: the mototaxis !

This is a trial concept: for two years, in Brussels, there will be 13 motorcycles in circulation. This service is particularly dedicated to people who want to move faster in the capital's traffic jams.

The weather is going to be fine, you should take the opportunity to go up and down Brussels streets, strolling free as a bird. You are at Mérode and have to go to Flagey asap? But it is 8am and there are traffic jams everywhere... Then call one of the seven Brussels moto-taxis providers. Your driver will squeeze in the traffic in order to quickly carrying out your journey. And you will maybe hail an available moto-taxi.

The moto-taxi journey requires some points. You will have to strictly follow the safety rules and slip on the motorcycle essential kit (helmet, gloves, protections, etc).

How much does a moto-taxi journey cost? Providers are free to give them prices. Their only obligation is to offer prices equal or above the classic prices of taxis, in order to avoid unfair competition. Since this new concept's goal is to offer an alternative to the current urban transports.
